Ramen Daisho at Assembly Grounds at The Rise, Makati

Ramen Daisho opens their newest branch at Assembly Grounds at The Rise, Makati. Chef Funatsu Yasuhiko introduced this taste when they brought ukkokei ramen from Fukuoka, Japan in 2013.  Their food is a celebration of authentic Japanese taste.

Ramen Daisho’s staff are excited to welcome you on October 17, 2019 for their grand opening.

THE DAISHO STORY

The rich and milky flavour broth is a combination of ukkokei chicken and pork hock (pata). It sets them apart as the taste is not oily and ukkokei chicken has a good medical treatment effect. Ramen variants are also available as they offer shio, shoyu and miso ramen. The shio ramen uses Okinawan salt while their miso uses three kinds of miso.

The place has limited space that makes you feel tight, but the interior decoration gives a feeling of zen. Japanese cranes and sakura are drawn inside their private room  and can seat 8-10 people while sitting in their modified kotatsu setup. The open kitchen gives a vibe of connection while the warm colors gave a more younger feels.

Aside from ramen, they also offer other choices such as the Cold Zaru Ramen eaten like tsukumen while their Garlic Abura-men (soupless ramen) resembles yakisoba. Ebi Mango Maki, Gyoza and Tempura are also available to enjoy.
